ACKNOWLEDGMENT

We the family of the late Stella Duffy wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with us on Stella’s recent sad passing.  We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our friends and neighbours for your kindness and support during those sad days. A special word of thanks to all who cared for Stella in the last years of her life. Doctor’s Jimmy & Elaine Broderick and the district Nursing Staff.  Her excellent home care team – Chrissie, Marcella and Mairead and Christine from the Alzheimer’s Association. Thanks to all who called to our home and attended the funeral Mass and burial.  We are very grateful to all who travelled long and short distances to be with us.   Thanks to all who sent Mass cards, messages of condolence and telephone messages and all who forwarded donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.  A heartfelt thanks to Fr Chas Guthrie for giving Stella her final blessing and to Fr. Denis Carney for his prayers, words of comfort and numerous visits to Stella and for his beautiful homily at Stella’s final Mass.  A sincere thank you to Fr. Clesham S.M.A and Fr. John Cunningham who con-celebrated the funeral Mass.  Our deepest thanks are extended to the Mass servers, Eucharistic ministers, Readers, and singer all of whom contributed to the dignity and religious significance of Stella’s final Mass.  A special thank you to the Pioneer Association of which Stella was a member, for providing the guard of honour at the removal from Kiltimagh Rd.  Our appreciation must also be extended to Michael Durkan- Undertaker, the gravediggers, Jim Rodgers- Church and Funeral Home Caretaker, and all who contributed to the funeral arrangements.  Many thanks also to our neighbours and friends, all whom contributed, prepared and provided catering and refreshments at the Funeral Home and the family home during the bereavement period.  Please understand that as it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we kindly request that this acknowledgement be accepted as an expression of our sincere thanks for all your kindness and support.

As a special token of our appreciation and gratitude the Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
