Patrick (Paddy) Burke,
Creevagh, Ballyheane, Castlebar, Co. Mayo and formerly of Derrygarrow, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo.
We, the family of the late Paddy Burke, would like to express our sincere gratitude for all the support we have received since our beloved father’s passing. We want to thank all those who called to the house, rang, sent messages, letters, mass cards and left messages online. We were overwhelmed by the amount of people who turned out to pay their respects to Dad at the funeral home, mass and burial. We will be eternally grateful to everyone for helping us to give him the send-off that he truly deserved. Special thanks to Fr. Eustace, Fr. Farragher and Fr. Fahey. The funeral mass was very special thanks to Fr. Farragher’s moving homily and the beautiful music provided by Brenda Grealis. Thank you to our family and friends for their contribution to the mass also. Thank you to funeral director Michael Kilcoyne for his kindness and professionalism throughout.
Thank you to the many services and lovely people who took care of Dad over the years. A special thank you to the MacBride Home in Westport who took care of Dad during his final few months. A sincere thank you to the staff of Mayo Hospice Castlebar who took great care of Dad in his final hours and allowed him to transition with the dignity and respect that he deserved. It also allowed us, his family, to spend precious time with him in a tranquil environment.
A huge thank you to our neighbours in Creevagh and surrounds. The support we received from you will never be forgotten and has been a great comfort to us all.
Dad got a beautiful send off as he deserved.
May Dad’s kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
Beidh tú inár gcroí i gcónaí agus ní dhéanfar dearmad riamh ort
