Loretta Moran Molloy,
Blackfort Manor, Castlebar and late of Farnascullogue, Ballina and Ballycroy – died on the 18th September, 2023.
We, Loretta’s family would like to thank most sincerely all the many people who called personally, gave mass cards, telephoned, sent text messages, emails, letters of condolences, condolences online, floral tributes and attended the removal of remains, mass and burial and most particularly those who travelled long distances to be here with us. To all Loretta’s wonderful neighbours and friends and ex-work Revenue colleagues, a very special thank you all. A special word of thanks to Fr. Pat Munnelly for attending the funeral home before removal of remains, the beautiful funeral mass and lovely homily and saying the final prayers at the graveside. Also Fr. Kiernan Burke, who concelebrated the mass with Fr. Pat. A special thank you to him. Thanks to all Loretta’s nieces and nephews who added so much to the mass and liturgy. Soloists Emer, Kellie and Donnacha. Musicians Sinéad, Tríona and Kellie. Organist Austin Bourke. Thanks to the staff and emergency services at Mayo University Hospital. Also, the curate who gave her last rites, we are forever grateful. To David, Martina and staff at McGowan’s Funeral Home for their care, concern and professionalism. To the gravediggers for preparing Loretta’s final resting place. Thanks to the management and staff at the Great Northern Hotel for a most beautiful meal. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.
