Lillian McElwee (nee Ruane),
Bohernasup and late of The Golf Links, Ballina
Passed away 15thDecember 2022.
We, the family of Lillian, would like to express our deepest gratitude to all who supported us during this extremely difficult time.
We would like to thank all who visited our home, attended Lillian’s funeral mass and burial, sent mass cards, left online condolences and to all who lined the funeral route, especially our very supportive neighbours. We would also like to thank all those who could not be present but joined us via webcam.
We offer our thanks to the Gardai and ambulance crew, who professionally and compassionately attended and supported us.
To all who dropped in food and provisions, we thank you. We would like to give a special word of thanks to all at McGowan’s Funeral Directors, who guided us through this tragic time with great care and professionalism. We really appreciate the beautiful singer, Aoife Kilcullen and organist, John Cummins who made the ceremony extra special. We would also like to thankall the children Lillian helped rear and their families, our extended family, for all their care, help and support.
Many thanks to all the staff at The Merry Monk who looked after us so well after the funeral.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Lillian’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 15th of January at 12:30pm in St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina.
