John O’Brien,

Springfield Court, Moneen, Castlebar and Ballysaggart, Lismore, Co. Waterford.

The family of the late John O’Brien wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement, all who telephoned, called to the house, attended the removal from Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Mass and funeral, all who sent Mass cards, flowers and letters of sympathy and those who travelled long distances to be with us. A special word of thanks to the Staff of University Hospital Galway, the Staff of the Renal Unit at Mayo University Hospital, the priests of the parish, especially Fr. Dixie and Fr. Shane, those who provided transport to the hospital, his carers, John O’Donnell’s Pharmacy, the T.F Royal Hotel for the funeral lunch, the gravediggers, Kilcoyne Funeral Directors for all their care and help, the Sacristan, Sharon Cuffe and Tom Lyons for the funeral music. A special word of thanks to our kind neighbours and friends whose help and support at this sad time will always be remembered and appreciated. Since it would be impossible to thank everybody individually for their kindness to us, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deepest appreciation and thanks. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Month’s Mind Mass for the happy repose of John will be celebrated in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, on Sunday, March 6th at 10.30am
