Jim Brennan,

Chapel Road, Dungloe, Co. Donegal and formerly of Station Road, Balla, Co. Mayo (died February 22, 2023).

We, the family of the late Jim Brennan, wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised and supported us on the death of our beloved Jim. Sincere thanks to our relatives, neighbours, friends, colleagues and those that travelled to support us during this sad time. Thank you for the Mass cards, phone calls, messages of sympathy, condolences on Midwest Radio and donations to Dungloe Patients Comfort Trust. A special word of gratitude to the staff of Dungloe Community Hospital while Jim was present in their care. A word of thanks also to the staff of Letterkenny Hospital, Galway University Hospital, Sligo University Hospital, Inis Aoibhinn House, Galway and the community nurses who helped care for Jim. Thank you to the present and retired members of An Garda Siochana, CLG An Clochan Liath, CLG Na Rossa, Donegal GAA Referees and Dungloe Community for the guards of honour. We would like to thank Jim’s partner Kate and the McCarron family for their help and friendship, and who took such wonderful care of Jim. Thank you to Shaun McGlynn Undertakers for his kindness and professionalism, and the gravediggers who prepared Jim’s final resting place. A special word of thanks to Michael Kilcoyne Undertakers, Castlebar, for his help and support. We would also like to thank Fr. Duffy and Fr. Moore who celebrated the funeral Mass for Jim. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a expression of our deepest gratitude. Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Month’s Mind Mass for Jim will be celebrated in St. Cronan’s Church, Balla on Sunday, April 2nd at 11am.
