Breda Hope – nee Doheny, Carrickhill, Breaffy, Castlebar and formerly Liss, Tullaroan, Co. Kilkenny
Breda’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Aloysius Church, Breaffy on Saturday, August 5 at 12 noon.
We, the family of the late Breda Hope (nee Doheny) who sadly passed away on July 1, wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised and supported us on our recent sad loss. We would like to express appreciation to all who telephoned, called to the house, attended the removal and funeral Mass in addition to all who sent Mass cards and cards of sympathy, wreaths, flowers, those who gave donations in her memory to the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation. We also thank those who travelled long distances to be with us. A special word of thanks is extended to Breda’s long time G.P Dr. Paul Carney and in particular to Professor McAneana, Dr. Dymphna Waldron, Dr. Leonard, Dr. Keane and their respective teams for their excellent care of Breda over the period of her illness. The kindness, compassion and high standard of care shown to Breda by the nursing staff in University College Hospital, Galway, the Home Care Palliative team and Public Health Nursing staff in Castlebar will always be gratefully remembered alongside the long standing support and care provided by Mary and Ian MacAuliffe and the staff of MacAuliffe’s Pharmacy. A special word of thanks to those who made the days following Breda’s passing easier; in particular Fr. John McCormack of Breaffy Parish, Michael and Phil Kilcoyne of Kilcoyne Funeral Directors, those who participated in the funeral Mass and provided the lovely music, the gravediggers, John O’Donnell and the staff at Castlebar Florists and the management and staff of Breaffy House Hotel.
In particular we are most grateful to our kind neighbours, friends and work colleagues whose help and support at this sad time has been invaluable and will always be remembered and appreciated. Since it would be impossible to thank everybody individually for their kindness to us we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our deepest appreciation and thanks.
