Thomas (Tommy) Whyte,
Lisrivish, Williamstown, Co. Galway.
Month’s Mind Mass for Tommy in St. Therese’s Church, Williamstown on Saturday, 4th November at 7 p.m.
The wife and family of the late Tommy Whyte would like to thank all of those who sympathised and supported us in our recent sad loss: those who telephoned, called to the house, sent messages of sympathy and Mass cards, attended the wake, Funeral Mass and burial. Thank you to our relatives, neighbours, colleagues and many friends, some of whom traveled long distances and from overseas to be with us at this sad time.
Sincere thanks to all of those who cared for Tommy during his illness: public health nurses Maggie Coyne and Joan Murray; Tommy’s GP of many years, Dr Michael Henry; the doctors, nurses and staff of Portiuncula Hospital. A special thanks to Dr Ali, Dr Rahman, Dr Kathleen Cronin and the nursing staff of the Galway Clinic. Your care and kindness to Tommy and your support to the family will not be forgotten.
Sincere thanks to Fr. Paddy Mooney who supported us in our time of grief and celebrated Tommy’s Funeral Mass, and Fr Éamon Dermody who concelebrated. Thank you also to the Ministers of the Eucharist, Mass servers and the Williamstown choir.
Thank you to John and Mary Feeney, Funeral Directors and Kirranes undertakers for your help and professionalism in taking care of the funeral arrangements and to the gravediggers for preparing Tommy’s final resting place. Thank you to Hester’s Golden Eagle restaurant, Castlerea for providing a lovely meal on the day of the burial.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
Tommy is sadly missed. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
