Month’s Mind Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Islandeady on Tuesday, 25th May at 7pm.
Paddy’s family, son Padraic, daughter-in-law Vanessa, grandchildren Cormac and Caden would like to acknowledge and sincerely thank Paddy’s nephew Eamon Walsh and family, nieces, Bernie McHale and family and also Teresa Fadden and family, relatives, friends, neighbours and former work colleagues for the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us during the peaceful passing of Paddy.
Thank you to all those who phoned, sent Mass cards, left messages of condolences on Midwest Radio and Social Media and to those who wrote such kind letters, we take great comfort and consolation in reading each and everyone of them. A special thank you to those who donated in Paddy’s memory to Mulranny High Dependency Unit. For those who baked goods, our wonderful neighbours and friends we sincerely thank you.
To Margaret Chambers, Maureen Chambers, Pamela Joyce, Thomas and Edith Chambers for all your kindness a special heartfelt thanks. We are truly thankful to all those who lined the road from Castlebar to St Patrick’s Church, Islandeady. To those who formed a guard of honour outside Paddy’s home and who made a beautiful alter for him. For those who were present outside the Church and graveyard your presence did not go unnoticed.
A special thank you to Mr Seán Rice for his beautiful tribute to Paddy, it was one we are sure he would be proud of. We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Garda Michael Tolan and Fr. Chris Brennan for his support and who celebrated Paddy’s Mass in such a beautiful way. Special thanks also to Nora Shally for such beautiful music in the Church and all her kindness we sincerely thank you. To Dr. Gerry Cowley, Edel and all the staff of St Brendan’s Nursing Home Mulranny who looked after Paddy so well. For your excellent care especially in his final days and the dignity and kindness you showed to us and Paddy we are forever grateful. To Michael Kilcoyne Funeral Director for all your professionalism, compassion and support you really did go above and beyond, we sincerely thank you. Thank you to the gravediggers and the stewards at the Church. Gratitude is also extended to Paddy’s good friends Sean and Mary McDonagh also John and Mary Moylette, to those who kept in touch with him through the years and visited him while in St Brendan’s also.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
