James Shevlin,

Cloonfaughna, Glinsk, via Castlerea, Co. Galway.

In loving memory of James Shevlin who passed away suddenly on the 7th of June 2023.

We, the Shevlin family, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, supported and comforted us on our recent sad loss.

A sincere thank you to all who called, sent cards, gave messages of sympathy, called to our home and attended the funeral, especially those who travelled long distances to do so. A special thanks to our neighbours and friends who reached out to help at this sad time.

We want to sincerely thank the ambulance service who were kind and empathetic in what was a very difficult time.

We would like to thank Tommy and Dolores Dowd for guiding us through this difficult period and handling the funeral with great care and professionalism.

We thank Fr. Donal Morris and all his concelebrants for making the Mass personal and special.

A special thanks to all in the Glinsk and Kilbegnet choirs who sang beautifully. The choir was a big part of James’ life and would have been very appreciative of their performance.

We would like to thank the many clubs and groups who showed their support when organising guards of honour on both James’ returning home and on his journey to the graveyard.

To our wonderful neighbours who came together to prepare James’ final resting place, we thank you sincerely.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude.

The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all of your intentions.

Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday July 9th at 10 a.m in St. Michaels Church, Glinsk.
