Brian’s nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and our families would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to the many neighbours, friends and relations who attended his Funeral Service, Mass and Burial and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time.
To those who telephoned, travelled, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, we are truly grateful.
Sincere thanks to Fr. Pat Deegan, Alphonsus Church, Old Trafford and to Fr. Joe Feeney, St. Patrick’s Church, Granlahan, for celebrating such beautiful Masses.
Thank you to Eoin Kenny, organist and all who participated in his Funeral Masses both in Old Trafford and Granlahan, adding a really personal touch to Uncle Brian’s Funeral Mass, giving us great comfort and support.
Sincere thanks to MMC Streaming Services who live streamed and recorded Brian’s Funeral Mass in Granlahan, which enabled all the relatives and friends at home and in Australia and England to be part of the service. We thank the neighbours in Brian’s former home village of Coolcam, who provided a guard of honour for his final journey home.
A special thanks to the staff of Belong Village Care Home, Wigan who cared for Uncle Brian over the last few years, always ensuring that we had constant contact with him, particularly throughout the Covid-19 lockdown. For their efficient, dignified & extremely sensitive approach to every request we are eternally grateful to Johnny, Mary and Martin Feeney, Undertakers, Williamstown and to Chris Loftus of P. Loftus Funeral Directors, Manchester.
Thanks sincerely to the grave diggers who prepared Uncle Brian’s grave so well.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

“Your presence lightened our burden”.
